Final day

We managed to get out for a last ride on Sunday, nice day weather wise. Bike all locked up and stored now won't be seeing her for some weeks!. Started the packing and of course there seems to be not enough room/weight allowance for every thing, shall just have to rethink things and chuck some stuff out (nessas clothes mainly!)Tempers are getting a little frayed because Vanessa wants the house spotless for when our friends arrive who are house sitting, and I'm just in her way. Looked at the weather forecast for New York and Chicago neither look that good, so might be starting the ride in wet weather gear GREAT! This will be our last posting from France, hopefully the next will be from across the pond in New York.

Riding time

Got out today on the bikes rode to Giroussens a village about 40k away to visit the pottery fete
beautiful sunny day, good riding but got a little too hot, came home had a few bevys and have arranged another ride out tomorrow probably our last before the holiday.

The Sherriff and co

The 'Sheriff,' his wife 'MadMax', Me and my wife 'Nessie'. Otherwise known as the 'gang'. Times drawing in now only a few days before we leave, trying hard to get some riding in before we go, as well as get every thing organised. As usual all sorts of things are going wrong around our houses just when you don't need them too! The sherriff's dishwasher has just broken, our electric gates won't open and the lawnmower won't start, hope nothing else goes wrong as we both have people house sitting for us!

Countdown

OK, 1 week to go and the panic has now started to set in, so much left to organise and so little time to do it but I suppose we will get there in the end we always do! Have'nt even had a chance to get out on my bike for a couple of weeks (might even be 3 or 4 weeks).
